Eligibility:The position will be focused on using observations, theory and models to develop rigorous stochastic parametrizations of unresolved turbulent ocean processes (e.g., convection, upper ocean mixing) in climate models. The successful applicant will guide this research activity and is expected to develop original research strategies. The results should be presented at national and international meetings as well as published in peer-reviewed publications.
